I just came across an interesting fact about medieval life.
Did you know that they used to use lead cups to drink their whiskey out of?  Sometimes the combination could knock them out for days, they be found laying on the side of the road and thought to be dead.
They would get them ready for burial by lay the person out on a table and wait to see if they would wake up.
And thats were we get the custom of holding a "Wake".
